1. Courier hijacking and losses: We offer courier insurance as well as D.O.A. insurance, and this must be paid for by the customer. A customer may opt-out of such insurance, but the responsibility lies with the customer to insure the parcel during transit.
2. Dead on arrival (D.O.A.) product : If D.O.A. insurance has been selected , we will collect*2 any insured product that has been found to be faulty*1. If D.O.A. has not been paid for, then the customer is responsible for the full shipping costs. (*1 Applies to hardware and factory faults within 7 days of invoice, the standard warranty applies thereafter. *2 Full costs are paid by us if collected from a major city in South Africa. A reduced fee applies to other towns and regional areas.)
